\"BEE\"<\/a>\u201cBuzz, buzz, buzz\u201d, went the busy bees in the flowers. Jordan ran up to them and\u00a0 tried to catch one. \u201cDon\u2019t do that!\u201d cried out Mummy who was carrying a bunch of pretty\u00a0 flowers, \u201cYou will be stung! It will hurt you!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan pulled back his hand, \u201cSore\u201d he said.\u00a0 \u201cThat\u2019s right\u201d, Mummy said,\u00a0 \u201cKeep away from the busy bees!\u201d So Jordan learned that it is\u00a0 best to keep right away from things that hurt.<\/p>\n

They walked back to the house and went inside. Jordan\u2019s little sister Betty, came running\u00a0 out of her room. She saw the flowers that Mummy was carrying and said, \u201cPretty flowers! Give me\u00a0 some!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you say when you want something?\u201d, asked Mummy.\u00a0Betty\u2019s lip began to drop. \u201cI\u00a0 want them!\u201d she said stamping her foot.<\/p>\n

\u201cBetty\u201d, said Mummy sternly, \u201cWhat do you say if you\u00a0 want something?\u201d Betty stopped and thought for a minute. \u201cPlease\u201d, she said, \u201cCan I have some\u00a0 flowers please, Mummy\u201d.\u00a0 Mummy smiled,\u00a0\u201cThat\u2019s right\u201d, she said, \u201c Of course you can have some\u00a0 flowers, Betty,\u201d and gave her some. There is always a right way and a wrong way to ask for things,\u00a0 and Betty\u00a0 tried them both. Mummy was pleased when she asked in the right way.<\/p>\n

Betty ran off to the kitchen with her flowers and tried to reach for a jar to put them in.\u00a0 Jordan\u00a0 ran after her. He reached up into the cupboard and got a jar down, \u201cHere you are Betty,\u201d\u00a0 he said.\u00a0\u00a0 He put some water out of the tap into the jar and gave it to her. She put it on the floor and started\u00a0 to put the flowers in it. Jordan put some in too, but Betty pushed him away. \u201cNo\u201d, she cried, \u201cGo\u00a0 away! I can do it by myself!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan started to bellow, and Mummy came into the room. \u201cBetty\u201d, she said, \u201cLet Jordan\u00a0 help. He is only trying to help you. You must share your flowers with him. It is the kind thing to do\u201d.\u00a0 It is not always easy to share, but it made Mummy happy to see Betty and Jordan\u00a0 putting the flowers in together.<\/p>\n

\u201cBetty\u201d, Mummy said, \u201dI think you had better pick that jar of flowers up and put it on the table. You might knock it over if it stays on the floor\u201d. Jordan jumped up and accidentally knocked it\u00a0 over. Water went all over the floor everywhere. \u201cSee what I mean?\u201d Mummy asked.<\/p>\n

Betty started\u00a0 crying and pushed Jordan away, \u201cNaughty boy!,\u201d she said, \u201cYou are a mean naughty boy!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan\u00a0 gave her a swipe but missed, and Betty roared \u00a0all the more.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, now,\u201d said Mummy, \u201c We all make mistakes. Betty, stop that noise. Jordan\u00a0 didn\u2019t\u00a0 mean to do it. Accidents will happen. Next time it might be you! Jordan you mustn\u2019t hit your little\u00a0 sister\u201d.<\/p>\n

So both Jordan and Betty learned that day that anyone can have an accident. An accident\u00a0 can\u2019t be helped.\u00a0\u00a0 Mummy wiped the mess up and put the flowers up on the table out of the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow I want\u00a0 you to go outside and play while I get lunch ready\u201d, \u00a0Mummy said.<\/p>\n
