\"P1020998\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 A well known preacher lost his wife and was left with three motherless children. As was to be expected, the children couldn\u2019t understand why their mother had died, and had many questions they asked their father.<\/p>\n

One day as they were going in the car to the cemetery, a large truck and trailer passed them closely making a dark shadow over the car.<\/p>\n

\u201cOoh, I wouldn\u2019t want that truck to hit us!\u201d, one of the children said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhich would hurt us the most, the truck or the shadow of the truck?\u201d asked their father.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe shadow can\u2019t hurt us\u201d, one of the older children said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d said their father, \u201cAnd that\u2019s just what it was like for Mum. Death didn\u2019t hurt her because she loved Jesus, it was only just a shadow for her. It has only taken her body, and not touched her spirit or soul which are with Jesus in heaven\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, that makes it so easy to understand now\u201d, said the oldest boy.<\/p>\n
