PROVERBS\u00a0 ONE\u2026.(v.1-6)<\/p>\n

Verses 1-6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 James 1:5<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Solomon was the wisest man who\u00a0 ever lived. His wisdom was a special gift from God, bestowed on him at his request. But knowledge alone was not enough\u2026.. it had to go along with\u00a0 knowing God and obedience\u00a0 to Him.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n

So we see that Solomon\u2019s great desire was to pass onto his sons the wisdom that God had given to him. But the wisdom that he had would do no-one any good unless they were willing to receive it, to know it, and to perceive it\u2026. in other words, take it and use it!<\/p>\n

God\u2019s wisdom gives prudence to the simple\u2026.. do you feel as though you don\u2019t have enough brains to understand God\u2019s truths? Have you ever asked Him to give you the wisdom you lack? James says that we don’t have because we don\u2019t ask! These things don\u2019t just fall into our laps with no effort on our part\u2026.. there is no such thing as instant spirituality!<\/p>\n

Salvation is instant, but God\u2019s WISDOM only comes with a conscious effort on our part\u2026. asking and seeking, and then obeying and doing it. The first steps in being wise are to listen and seek to increase one\u2019s knowledge in the things of God.<\/p>\n

If you take one step towards your\u00a0 God. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 He will take more than you\u2019ve ever trod \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Read His Word,\u00a0 obey its way, \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 And walk in it from day to day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
