He thinks of any sin he might have done and confesses it, then gets into bed still thinking of the things of the Lord. What a pattern for us to follow! There is nothing like a good rousing hymn for raising the spirits, and we can think of the words of many of these as we lie in bed, and then drop off into a peaceful sleep.
